Add 30-40 ml of white vinegar (instead of fabric conditioner)
to your final rinse to deodorize and soften your nappies.
(Fabric conditioner will coat your nappies with a water
resistant film which will reduce their absorbency) |

soak your wraps, it will reduce it's life.
To prevent tangling and snagging, fully fasten the velcro,
and turn the wrap inside out to wash. |

for the terry nappy: line your changing mat to
keep baby off the cold plastic and catch any dribbles
or wees! Stand your nappy buckets on them to catch any
drips. |
Bright
White Nappies! Hang your
nappies in the sunshine to bleach out any stains. Sunshine
has natural antiseptic properties too! Air dried nappies
last longer too...constant tumble drying can reduce their
life. |

Tea Tree Oil
has natural antiseptic, germicide, antibacterial, fungicide
properties.
Try using it as a nappy Sanitizer;
Add 5 drops to a bucket of water. |
Added Fragrance
Lemon juice, or a couple of drops of tangerine or lavender oil added to the fabric conditioner compartment for the final rinse will give your nappies a pleasant fragrance. |
